Umbral

The Umbral is the unquestioned leader of The Night of Apopshe. There is one Umbral, and she is Asuha Gowriat'Alierma, Gowriat of the Drow Elvirim noble House Alierma. Other than the Umbral, there is only one other rank within The Night, Shadow. All Shadows are subservient to and answer only to the Umbral, with the exception of the Tygowriat of House Alierma, Luaraenil Tygowriat'Alierma, to whom the Umbral reports.

Appointment

The Umbral is chosen and authorized solely by the Tygowriat of House Alierma, Luaraenil Tygowriat'Alierma. The Umbral serves at her pleasure and answers to no one else.

Duties

The Umbral executes the plans of her Tygowriat, Luaraenil Tygowriat'Alierma making use of the skills, talents, and abilities of her Shadows to further the aims of her House, the Drow, and the Yfeljang. She, along with some of the senior Medriat Shadows, plan the operations undertaken by the Shadows, including acts of terrorism, assassinations, and directing, rewarding, and punishing the members of The Order of Apopshe.
On occasion, the Tygowriat director of Obsidian meets with the Umbral to assign tasks to The Night of Apopshe at the direction of the Interface, Sazzok Tygowriat'Zaquarn.
