Obsidian

Obsidian is the covert, occult arm of House Zaquarn, the leading Drow Elvirim noble House in Isolabirre.
The Drow of Obsidian are the most capable and competent members of House Zaquarn, and it is considered a great honor to be selected. The Gowriat head of Obsidian, Tineth Gowriat'Zaquarn, is considered second only to Sazzok Tygowriat'Zaquarn in House Zaquarn. Only the Shadows of House Alierma are considered equal to the Operators of Obsidian in Isolabirre.
Obsidian exists to serve the Yfeljang and the Interface in providing whatever the Yfeljang, Edan, desires, to protect House Zaquarn and further its aims, and to expand the influence of the Drow throughout Derkomai. To enhance the capabilities and power of Obsidian, Sazzok Tygowriat'Zaquarn has coopted House Alierma's Shadows of The Night of Apopshe to carry out missions as instructed by Obsidian.

Structure

Obsidian is led by the Tygowriat of House Zaquarn, Sazzok Tygowriat'Zaquarn, but day-to-day operations are overseen by Tineth Gowriat'Zaquarn, one of Sazzok's lieutenants. She is known as the Head of Obsidian. Obsidian has several divisions, called Facets. Each Facet is led by a senior Medriat, who is also titled "Facet." Each Facet is staffed by junior Medriat and Aelriat members of House Zaquarn, known as "Operators."
The Facets of Obsidian are:

• Facet of Observation - diviners and covert spies
• Facet of Seduction - enchanters and seductresses that influence, recruit, gather information, and spread disinformation on behalf of other Facets
• Facet of Annihilation - assassins, warriors, thaumaturges
• Facet of Deception - propagandists, illusionists
• Facet of Training - trainers for other facets
• Facet of Provision - conjurers and logistical support for Operators

Assets

Obsidian has access to all of the assets of House Zaquarn, the leading noble House of Isolabirre, so its assets are essentially unlimited.
There are 61 members of Obsidian, ten in each Facet, including the senior Medriat in charge of the Facet, plus the Head of Obsidian, Tineth Gowriat'Zaquarn.
Beside its 61 members, Obsidian employs and recruits spies, assassins, informants, terrorists, and propagandists throughout Derkomai. Obsidian also makes use of Shadows of The Night of Apopshe to carry out missions, especially assassinations.
