Blue Moon

The moons have several names and many stories tied to them. In Tormyra, BlueMoon is called Nyche, because of the gray-blue hue.

In Theydim, BlueMoon is named for The Lady, as on the nights when the three moons are full on the same night, The Lady hangs in the middle, as adulthood is between childhood and "elderhood", between GreenMoon and RedMoon, named for the Merry One and the Elder, respectively.

The people of Goltheris name the moons based on their phases, and so BlueMoon is named for Truth when the moon is full, and Secrets when the moon is in shadow, and much like the Thydian naming reasons, when the moons are all full or all in shadow on the same night, BlueMoon balances, as Truth balances between the "Bright" deities of Justice and Judgement, and Secrets balances between Control and Freedom.

The Five Cities and their people name the BlueMoon (demand) as they name the moons for the three stages of the code for their society - (Supply), (Demand), (Profit).

Geography

BlueMoon is a blueish hued moon, some have speculated there is an Cobalt that colors the moon blue, others claim the moon is blue because there is water on it.

There are craters pockmarking the moon, and a great mark many on Soplas describe as a "scar".
