Ytvía

Ytvía is a region in southern Jælondis, the northern continent of Borgalor, bordered by the Lamþó Hills to the northwest, Qug Mountains to the north, Ójom to the east and the Þargolid Sea to the south.
The majority of the inhabitants are either Dwarves or of mixed human and dwarven ancestry in the central regions and by the coast, respectively, along with two distinct human populations, namely nomadic lútlans to the northwest one one hand, and various communities in the coastal cities on the other. Many of the latter hail from what is now Amþax in southwestern Jælondis and arrived to Ytvía decades ago to escape liches and their undead hordes during the Fell Wars, though most have migrated to the Southlands since then.
The main countries of Ytvía are Keqallía at the southeastern coast, Nof centered on the river P'alrú to the southwest, and Ti'ei at the heart of the region.

Geography

Much of central, southern and particularly eastern Ytvía is characterized hills, low mountains and generally rough terrain covered in dense, evergreen shrublands which give way to mixed, semitropical woodlands closer to the eastern border with Ójom, with the exception of mostly semi-arid steppe and rolling hills to the northwest.
The land is dotted with ruins of settlements, shrines and forts, some of which still stand proud while others have long since been covered by dirt and sand. These sites have attracted archaeologists, hoping to gain new insight about Ytvía's early history as well as that of Jælondis in general.
The climate is generally warm, with hot, dry summers and mild, rainy winters to the south and cooler winters further inland.

Tourism

Ytvía receives a number of tourists each year, drawn to the region's warm climate, ancient cities, culture and history -including archaeological sites- and sandy beaches.
