Shyei Geir
An extinct people who once lived in the Great Terminallian Jungles of Monos. Legends suggest the Shyei Geir warred with the Onzui Ohir for thousands of years; a war they eventually lost. The Shyei Geir fled east and eventually became the Samayans, supposedly. The Shyei Geir are also linked to myths of demons haunting the Jungles in ancient times.
Both the Shyei Geir and Onzui Ohir are said to have had links to great and powerful magics: the Onzui Ohir through their worship of the Monosi Old Faith, and the Shyei Geir through their power over devils and dragons. Yet strangely the Samayans, for all the magic and epic powers in their own legends, lack the magical history found in most other major Kynaji settlements. They are acted upon by gods and dragons and elemental spirits, but never are the Samayans said to command devils or dragons.
