Feny Lekki
The Tricky Flicker, The Twisting Flame, The Gardener of the Fairy Fields, The Laughing Imp, The Bastard King, The Trickster of the Fey, The Lamplighter, The Kindly Bartender, The Weakling (a.k.a. Fenirilus Lekkan)
Feny Lekki, sometimes known as the Laughing Imp, is a Beacon representing Laughter, Light and Trickery. He is one of the most popular deities to worship on Apa Axas, being the patron god of the Elves, whom view him as a Father figure. He is said to be the manifestation of The Feywild.
He is a popular choice for Trickery & Beer Domain Clerics, due to his jovial, prankful nature and his association with Light also makes him popular with Light Domain Clerics. He has also been known to make pacts with mortals, particularly with Archfey Warlocks. His followers are diverse and wide-spread, as he is a part of almost all Elven patheons. However, he is widely reviled by the Dwarves who believe him to be a malicious trickster who caused The Vida Quda to abandon their patron god, Surm Tutdrug.
As a being of humour, light and peace, Feny Lekki is often at odds with other Beacons and Travesties. He is viewed as an annoyance at best by Gloom Mona, and is the mortal enemy of Surm Tutdrug, Drelux and Vox. He is noted by most mortals, particularly the Elves, to be one of the most pleasant Beacons to speak with, being personable, fun and genuinely interested in their woes, despite his deific status.

Personal history
The true origins of Feny Lekki are vague at best. What is known is that a creature going by the same name was once a mythical 'bogeyman' of the The Clever Folk, who was said to appear in the embers of dying and unattended fires within Clevr Folk homes and would reignite the flames to dance in the flames as the houses burned. Many scholars believe that this creature did not actually exist, but was in fact a children's fable designed to ensure that the Clever Folk would properly extinguish their fires before retiring for the night.
This would all change when the God Severment was activated. According to one legend, one of the Clever Folk scientists who had helped to develop the reality altering weapon saw a figure dancing as a fleeting image in the flames, the bizarre movements reminding the scholar of the mythical Feny Lekki's whimsical nature. This thought came and went for the scholar, but it was absorbed into The Great Machine regardless, forcing the creature into existence as the Beacon Feny Lekki.
The moment of the God Severment was said to be excruciating for those birthed within it, and filled them with terror. Those Deities born from it fled through time to escape their pain, and Feny Lekki was no different. Within moments of birth, he fled into the distant past, and wandered for many years, developing a passion for the burgeoning life he encountered, forming The First Vineyards and farms to sate his appetite for wine and fine foods. It was in this first garden, known as Aeonia, that Feny Lekki met the Vida Quda as she wandered the young Apa Axas in search of the answers for her Great Endevaour.
Feny Lekki was enamoured with the Lady of Life, and the two quickly formed a strong relationship, being united in the first wedding. Feny Lekki heard out the Vida Quda’s quest in the years to follow, and pledged himself to aid her however he could, becoming one of the Vida Quda's most staunch allies. It was Feny Lekki’s plan to allow their potential new race of children to develop in a realm of positivity, which would allow the new species to survive with compassion and a love of nature, free from the pain and fear.
To accomplish this, Feny Lekki created The Feywild, a parallel realm free from the dangers of Apa Axas. However, the Vida Wuda disagreed vehemently, stating that if their children were to inherit Apa Axas, they must have originated from Apa Axas, as to never forget its history, and they must learn to cope with and adapt to the Roving Reality. In an effort to persuade the Vida Quda otherwise, Feny Lekki bathed the Feywild in positive energy, theorising that a positive world would make the race stronger, as they know what true happiness is and would be willing to fight for it. The Vida Quda relented, on the condition that they would personally not intervene, allowing the race to develop on its own without reliance on deities serving their every whim.
However, Feny Lekki, ever the trickster, placed his eldest son, Haught Lekki, in charge, as the First Archfey, the sovereign rulers of the Feywild to this day. However, while Haught Lekki possessed many of the powers, and playful spirit of his father, he lacked Feny Lekki’s compassion, harbouring a hatred of these new creatures, dubbed Elves, believing his father favoured them above the Archfey and his siblings. Haught Lekki started to create many creatures who inhabit the Feywild to this day, such as Pixies and Sprites, as well as other, more deadly fey creatures, such as Redcaps, Yeth Hounds and Dryads, as well as inviting the Hags into the Feywild. These new creatures forced these Primal Elves to flee to Haught Lekki for protection, where he promptly enslaved them for his own purposes. Haught Lekki grew more and more ambitious, and used the positive Fey energy to expand the Feywild like an aggressive cosmic tumour.
The Vida Quda, heartbroken at the way the Archfey had enslaved her children, decided sealed the Feywild away from Apa Axas, allowing the realm to consume itself, with the reluctant blessing of Feny Lekki. The pair returned the elves to Apa Axas, and over time, the Elves flourish, evolving into many subspecies across what would become the Seven Kingdoms. Unfortunately, they had been forever tainted with Fey magic, and without the Fey to be their adversaries, the elves grew stagnant, living lives of little action, and much biding, due to the extensive lifespans. Disgusted, the Vida Quda viewed this as a failure, and abandoned the Elves and Feny Lekki to their fates in search of a more worthy inheritor.
The Feny Lekki was distraught at this development, but continued to care for their children, as he had grown to love all parts of the Vida Quda, regardless of her disappearance. Feny Lekki taught the Elves to love nature, granting them the gift of music, and protecting them from Drelux, his mortal enemy, by teaching them the way of Trance, to forgo exposing themselves to the dangers of The Astral Plane. However, Feny Lekki decided that in order to win the Vida Quda back, he would have to respect her wishes. He became an observer of the Elves, only intervening in times of great peril were the mortal races would fall without him. When the races of Dwarves appeared on Apa Axas, he was heartbroken to find they were the offspring of the Vida Quda, sired by another Beacon, the Lifehunter Surm Tutdrug. How Feny Lekki responded to this replacement varies, with most races believing that Feny Lekki once again bestowed his reluctant blessing. However, Dwarven scripture states that Feny Lekki sewed seeds of doubt in the Vida Quda's mind in regard to the Dwarves, convincing the Lady of Life to abandon the Mountain Folk, due to their stubborn and unchanging nature. This craven act, known as the Knife-Ear Falsehood, painted Feny Lekki as a villainous figure to the Dwarves, and is the source of animosity for the Dwarves and Elves to this day. However, both sides agree that Feny Lekki’s love for the Vida Quda was genuine, and whether one believes the Knife-Ear Falsehood is up to one’s own beliefs.
This love for the Vida Quda even extended to parts of herself she had discarded, such as Zemer Epsh. When Zemer Epsh was set in eternal flame as punishment for her involvement in The Dragongate Incident, Feny Lekki took pity on the Lustful God and allow her the usage of The Soothing Spring to help to manage her infernal pain. While those who worship Feny Lekki often state that he performed this kindness as he loved all versions of the Vida Quda, his detractors believe that Feny lekki did this to spite the Vida Quda for spurning him. Whatever the case, Zemer Epsh created the Firbolg in his honour, and he took them under his wing when Zemer Epsh left to wage war on her former self.
