The Poorest Wedding Gift

The Poorest Wedding Gift is a legend told by the High Elves, that details the origin of The Acorn of Scorn.
The story goes that Feny Lekki, in an attempt to provide his new wife, The Vida Quda, with a gift worthy of two Beacons created the Acorn of Scorn, a beautiful golden acorn that saps luck from the surrounding area to gift to the holder. It was supposed to represent his impish nature, and would burst into sprites upon many usages. However, it is said that The Vida Quda really did not enjoy the prank, and Feny Lekki is still said to be embarassed by the whole ordeal.
