Apa Axas
Apa Axas is a plane of existence, in which most of the adventures of these settings take place. Unlike other planes, Apa Axas is a Remora World, a form of living universe that feeds on a host universe as an infant, taking on the host's characteristics (such as laws of physics and denizens), before departing on an eternal search for a mate. Apa Axas is unique amongst Remora Worlds, as it is the only documented Remora World to feed on the Material Plane, creating an entirely seperate alternate Material Plane, governed by The Beacons & Travesties as opposed to the wide range of ancient gods of other realms. This unique connection to the material plane also allows Apa Axas to interact with other planes just as the Material does. As such, incursions from The Feywild, Shadowfell, The Nine Hells, the Far Realm and The Elemental Planes are more common than in other planes. Whether these incurring planes are the originals, or alternates like Apa Axas, is up for debate.
