Remora World

A Remora World is a living plane. They are often depicted as a huge whale-like creature, bearing worlds upon their back. It is said that a young Remora World will attach itself to another plane, feeding off it until it becomes fully-grown; an act that allows the world to take on aspects of the 'Feeder Realm'. For example, the most well-documented Remora-World, Apa Axas, fed on the material plane, leaving its world very similar to the material plane in terms of physics and denizens.
Once a Remora World is fully grown, it will depart and begin its eternal quest in the Void, searching for a mate to reproduce. However, these events are rare, due to the sarcity of Remora Worlds.
