Anderfels

The Anderfels is a region in northeastern Thedas dominated by large deserts and steppes, bordering on rough mountain ranges in the south and a thick jungle in the north. Originally named the Orthlands it was originally part of the Tevinter Imperium, split off for a while and remained an independent kingdom, until being integrated into the nation once again and has been under the rule of the Imperium ever since. The people of the Anderfels proudly calling themselves Ander like to differentiate themselves from Tevinter culture. They are used to a rough life in a rough land - and a lot of them don't believe that the Imperium would be too upset was the whole region lost to the Blight.
