Ancient Thedas

Ancient Thedas is the setting for the Dragon Age tabletop RPG campaign "Ancient Shadows" set in the years of the First Blight in the Tevinter Imperium. The story revolves around a group of travellers from all across the continent, each one following their own goals, and becoming unlikely companions in a crumbling Imperium torn by political intrigues, disease, and powerful magic.   The world of Dragon Age was created by and belongs to Bioware. It is used as a base for the information found here. Some facts and rules have been adjusted to a setting and story taking place centuries before the events of the games, novels, and comics of the Dragon Age franchise, others are directly taken from canon material like the Dragon Age Tabletop Core Rulebook. Most characters and some places are original creations, and wherever there were holes in the canon lore, they were filled drawing inspiration from the same sources that inspired the original creators for their world.   This is merely a compendium of places and characters the players have visited and met, of historical events they witnessed (or created - be it on purpose or by accident), and a collection of their deeds and stories, for personal reference as our adventure progresses.
