Thurn

What Thurn lacks in land mass is makes up for in resources. The region of Thurn is a massive networks of rivers, lakes and seas with thousands of islands packed in-between. Thurn is an extremely tropical environment with warm water and humid temperatures, flora and fauna thrive here. Thurn has one of the highest populations of any region thanks to it's tropical and enviable climate. A notable capital city Tropella is constructed between multiple islands and over a few rivers. Tropella is the capital of the Horrath Kingdom the kingdom with the highest number of exports. It is also an incredibly popular tourist destination all year around but especially during Alith. During Alith some of the rivers of Thurn change colors, many of the tropical fish begin to glow, and streams of magic weave through many of the cities. While Thurn is a lovely region they have a tremendous issue with Pirates and bandits. Many of these Pirates take over whole rivers or ambush cruise vessels to take slaves and other valuables. Thurn has recently established the mages guild of Heart's Fire in order to help solve their pirate problem.

The Kingdoms of Thurn

First off is the Horrath Kingdom then is the Kingdom of Dry'din. After these is the Uulboth Kingdom and then lastly is the Magnisk Kingdom

Geography

Thurn is essentially one massive Delta. Countless rivers run through the region and empty out into the ocean. This has created thousands of islands within the region that many different species call home. Most of these rivers come from the surrounding regions of Thurn, namely Ollurve, Stelliah and Enithe. There are also massive pockets of water that have formed within Thurn essentially creating small seas within the region as well. This has made it a very popular fishing destination too. Thurn is also famous for its massive coral reefs thats span miles long and even weave their way into some of the rivers. A major drawback to all of the water and warm weather is the potential of hurricanes, storms, and major flooding. Thurn has been decimated a few times by major storms.

Fauna & Flora

The best way to describe the flora and fauna of Thurn would be exotic. Thurn is home to many massive trees and luscious plants. The high levels of water and rainfall have allowed for the flora here to grow to massive sizes. It isn't uncommon to find fruit here such as apples, bananas, and coconuts to grow around the size of a persons head. Almost every creature that calls Thurn its home is capable of either flight or swimming. Many of these creatures have had to adapt over the years in order to survive within the islands of Thurn. This means some species have gills or webbed feet when their counterparts in other regions have no such things. Unsurprisingly the most of the fauna in Thurn lives underwater in the thriving ecosystems of coral reefs and whirlpools. Like most sea faring regions there have been rumors of great creatures calling Thurn their home. Reported sighting of massive tentacles washing up on shores, dead whales with bites in them. Even a tooth the size of an average human has appeared on one of the many beaches before. While Thurn is a popular vacation destination be wary before you jump into deeper waters traveller.
