Grin-Felk Mountain Range

Home to two warring dragons and a few mysteries as well.

A unique mountain range found in northern Novius. These mountains link together to form a ring about 30 miles in diameter. Similar to most other mountain ranges in Novies, they're not tall enough to be snowcapped. Many researchers believe that there is abnormal magic source near the mountain range that could be responsible for their circular nature. Outside of the weird pattern of the mountains the mountain range is also home to two dragons. They're both believed to have reached adulthood despite their decades long feud. One is a female red dragon while the other is a Copper Male dragon. The Grin-Felk mountain range exists in the territory of the Myvern Kingdom.

Geography

The most unique part of the mountain range is their signature circular shape they all form together. There is no known cause for this formation although there are a couple theories. There is a steep valley on the inside of the circle shape that contains a lush forest in the middle with waterfalls and rivers flowing down the insides of the mountains creating a few ponds and streams in the valley.

Fauna & Flora

The most unique fauna in this area are the two warring dragons Val'Ush the Copper dragon and Orritix the Red Dragon. Val'Ush has made his home on the north west side of the mountain range while Orritix lives opposite of him in the southeast portion. This means that for most adventurers or explorers looking to venture into the mountain range they have to enter the territory of Orritix.

Natural Resources

The water in this area is considered the most pure in Novius. Others say the water contains traces of Ziel in it. But these rumors remain rumors due to the incredibly dangerous conditions that the mountain range is currently in. The inside valley is thought to be home to some incredible animals but this also just theories as all exploration parties to the area either don't return or don't stay long enough to gather conclusive evidence.

Oh you want to go up to the Grin-Felk? Ha. Friend you must have a death wish, there isn't enough gold in the Myvern Kingdom to get me to lead another expedition back there. Do yourself a favor and go home.
