The Stormspire

The Stormspire is a legendary mountain that resides within the continent of Albion, a massive peak that spears into the sky and clouds above and is believed to be the holy site of the gods Kord, Talos, Grummsh, and Akadi. It is a Rend tradition for Rendsfolk to ascend the mountain if they worship any of the Storm Lords, those who make it to the top capable to call upon their gods for a reward if they are deemed worthy. The Mountain is known to house a number of creatures such as Thunderbirds, Storm Goliath Tribes, Stormhounds, and other elemental beasts.

Purpose / Function

This mountain originally served as the battleground between Kord and Talos for ownership over the title of "Storm Lord", a constant conflict that sees the name move from one or the other based on the winning side. As such, the question of ownership of the mountain itself has a variety of answers, from the Rend believing it is owned by Kord to some tribes of the Storm Goliaths pushing that Talos keeps it.
