Unknown Depths
Unknown Depths takes place in May 1949 in Orkney and along the northern coast of Scotland near Thurso. Rowena Edgarton has been working on a particular innovation as part of finishing her apprenticeship as a Portal Keeper. When Thom Marwick comes asking for help, she has a number of ideas.
The fact that no plan ever survives contact with new information is an expected sort of problem, given her family, but this particular problem has a number of unexpected challenges that will take Rowena and Thom through and into unfamiliar lands and waters.
