Earlen Harlow Kingfinch
Harlow was an Earlen of Deornet, the Southernmost Region of Ghealas. She is the younger sister of Queen Ositha and the grandmother of her successor, Queen Herleva II. She was involved in the Hol Gheal Disaster, and is responsible for trying to cover up the anthrax outbreak caused by her son Arnulf. She was also responsible for creating a Double Walker of her estranged half-sister Sabrina Henbelle, who she was in love with. This double walker would become Scirefrowe and architect Harlow's sacrifice to the valley, in order to keep Old Nick at bay.
Her daughter Sigrid becomes the Aliruna Henbane. Though Harlow would become infamous as a vengeful matriarch, she was very different before the death of Sabrina. Many who were sympathetic to her believe that her soul died alongside Sabrina, and something much darker emerged in its wake.
