Henbane
Cennend Henbane (a.k.a. Ashur, Sigrid)
Henbane is an Aliruna born in the aftermath of the Hol Gheal Disaster, composed of Ashur of Beltane and the mandrake of Sigrid Belenos. They work as an exorcist and chemist in the town, and their split personality seems to ebb and flow with the tides.
Unlike many Aliruna, whose host bodies reject the consciousness of the mandrake/parasite who inhabits them, Ashur allows Sigrid to possess and control the body they share- though each have little to no memories of what happens when the other is active.
Many people consult Henbane for specific tasks that only Ashur or Sigrid would know how to perform, such as Sin-eating or poison control. Despite this they are mainly addressed as Henbane, which follows the pattern of Aliruna naming themselves after the mandrake which inhabits them.
When Sigrid has control over the body, the henbane flowers are in bloom- they wilt or recede when Ashur is in control.
