Argen Kingfinch
Argen Kingfinch- Erzgild-Wisterwood
Argen Kingfinch is a member of the Wisterwood family who were disinherited in the previous generation. He is one of Arvis' older cousins and collaborators. His father belonged to the Rockbaker Clan, a tribe of Dolomedes who assimilated into Mothfolk society, typically working in lakeside mining compounds. He thus was able to rely on that generational wealth to emulate the family of Queen Herleva, and began a campaign for maps of the Naefergrene and Spynes Lakes.
He was affected during the Indifferent Sun Disaster of 768, in which an explosion at his radium plant caused a cycle of extreme weather, causing many of the communities that has been heading to the naefergrene to die horribly and end up in Old Nick's hands. It was this explosion that caused serious mutations in the tissue of certain Mothfolk, causing some Infecund to become Fecund - Ositha was affected by this, and this sudden surge in births brought with it a population bottleneck as well as closer relations with the Cult of Modron.
When he was declared XYF despite having predominantly Attercop ancestry, he was betrothed to Harlow Kingfinch, allowing him to be married into the inheriting family line.
He became a Glowstone scientist, who made friends with the children of wealthy mine owners, eventually securing a job in their forecasting division. After marrying Harlow he was able to fund his own apothecary in the bustling Midnight City of Blaec Gheal, Wonders of the Age, which focused on Glowstone Therapy
