Wisterwood Family
The Wisterwood Family are a clan of noble landowners from the Gannwyll Gwydd Larchwood branch, who are the current ruling power in Ghealas. Their family line originated from Avalach, a member of Emperor Mihrdatis' royal court who allied with Sheena and the early Gannwyll Gwydd during the Fall of Kaer-Is. The legend claims he fell for Wendy Wisterwood, an infertile Heno Humourist with a mysterious and supernatural backstory. They allied with Idalia Lark, niece of the famous Dando and daughter of Gannwyll scientist Poppy Larkborn, during the first Koaneg Eskern Tournament, and eventually started a coven of Aliruna. It's rumoured they tested the process on each other and that most of the long-living Aliruna were born from their methods, though they are not very forthcoming with their occult history.
Their human children would migrate North into the territory of the Attercops, connecting and settling with the Gannwyll Gwydd families there to form large communities.
They are the main ruling family in the House of Larix.
