Double Walker

The double walkers are machines who have stolen the identity and the soul of a human. There are two types of double walkers, complete and incomplete.

Complete - the automata has completed a sealing ritual, binding the soul of the machine to their new body. A mandrake is created with the human's blood and bones, driving their primordial human survival skills.

Incomplete - the automata has not completed a sealing ritual, or has not created a mandrake of the human they want to ghost. Often they are unintelligible but some who observe humans enough are able to imitate someone quite accurately.
