Domrónans

Domrónic: Domrónógó /tɔmrouːnouːkou/
The domrónans1 were the main hapalian tribe that inhabited northern Gysikan until the region was invaded by the ancestors of the Nússans nearly a thousand years ago, and while the latter have adopted the domrónic names for certain plants, rivers and mountains within Nússa, the domrónans have long since disappeared as a distinct culture.
Prior to this, they practiced hunting, goat-herding and growing millet to some extent, along with a mixture of raiding and trading with neighbouring Feráans, Þargaleans and fellow hapalic-speaking tribes, but had little contact with the dwarven Katargysians unlike the other tribes. Domrónans were known for their skills and bravery when hunting for Hill lions, and often traded the animals' skins, teeth and claws in exchange for goods such as wine, linen cloth and jewelry.

Religion

Domrónans worshipped a mixed pantheon native and foreign deities, including the moon goddess Di and Flir the hunting god, the sun god Ragó and sky god Vo, the latter two being adopted from feráan and þargalean mythology, respectively. In certain traditions, particularly to the east, Vo was considered the husband of Di.

1Original icelandic: Domrónar, singular: Domróni.
