Hill lions
Katargysían/Dvarran: Brikhaþen /prɪkhaːθɛːn/
Hill lions are found throughout Gysikan and the southern Pargos Mountains, usually in remote regions due to centuries of hunting. They live in small groups, hunting deer, boars and occasionally livestock by ambushing them from behind rocks, then vanish as swiftly as they appeared into the hills after eating their fill.
There's a widespread belief that hill lions are deathly afraid of roosters, so many travelers and soldiers carry a rooster leg or head as a talisman.
