The Shifting Dunes remain one of the greatest mysteries and dangers of the Wildlands. Many believe something ancient stirs beneath the surface, shaping the land in ways beyond mortal comprehension. Could it be an old god, a lost civilization, or something even more alien?
Geography
The Shifting Dunes stretch across the western savanna and extend towards the central region of the Wildlands, where they border grasslands and arid wastelands. The terrain is in constant motion, with dunes rising and collapsing unpredictably.
- Unstable Sand Formations: The ground beneath the dunes seems to shift without reason, making mapping the region nearly impossible. Stone spires and half-buried ruins occasionally emerge, only to be swallowed again by the sands.
