Keenan Seawolf
Lord Keenan Seawolf (a.k.a. Kee)
Until he was five years old, Keenan was raised in a loving household with his older half-brother Roarke Seawolf, his one-year-old-older half-brother Luthien Seawolf, and eventually his baby sister Daire Seawolf by his parents, Lord Calder Seawolf and Lady Darhana Arroway and his parents' lover and Luthien's mother Lady Fhaora Darkwood.
When he was five, Darhana and Fhaora both died in tragic circumstances. Lord Calder became distant, and Roarke mainly took over raising his three half-siblings. When he was about 10, his father remarried again to Thana Swiftwind, who is about the same age as Roarke.

Personal history
Keenan is Lord Calder's third son (after Roarke and Luthien) and second heir (after Roarke). He was born into a complicated family - his father fell in love with Fhaora, Luthe's mother, but was unable or unwilling to marry her, so married her best friend and Keenan's mother Darhana instead. Darhana and Calder were only friends, but she agreed to bear him heirs as they were married, and for all intents and purposes, the three of them and their children were living a fairly idyllic life.
That changed when Keenan was five, and both Fhaora and Darhana died. Calder, heartbroken over the loss of his friend and lover, withdrew from his children emotionally. He kept a fairly cordial relationship with his heirs, including Keenan, but left the day-to-day raising of Keenan to his older brother Roarke and the rest of the household. Kee was always the most timid and least like to get in trouble of his age group, with Luthien and Wilhand Darkeyes being much more mischievious and wild, and Fletchor Silverhold usually jumping in to follow them, for nothing if not to keep them out of the worst of trouble. And not that Keenan didn't get into mischief with the rest of them, because he did!
Talented at the martial arts, and not particularly interested in business, Keenan was aware as a teenager the best place for him was likely to be training as an officer in either the Imperial Army or Navy.

Mental Trauma
Though he was only five, the death of his two mother-figures and the withdrawal of his father hit Keenan hard, and he never really recovered. He has also always been strongly affected by the knowledge that Calder treats him differently than he treats Luthien, and he didn't before their mothers died. Keenan feels guilty that his father chooses to still like him but seems to hate his brother.

Keenan's best friends are his one-yead older brother Luthien and Wilhand Darkeyes, the son of one of the local artisans. Rounding our the group is Luthien's best friend Fletchor Silverhold.

Keenan is close to his siblings and half-siblings, and has a sisterly relationship with his father's third wife Thana Swiftwind.
