Fhaora Darkwood
Lady Fhaora Darkwood (a.k.a. Fee)
Fhaora is Luthien Seawolf's mother. She was never married to Lord Calder Seawolf, though he was very much in love with her. She is something of a local legend in her own right, one of The Brilliant Empire's rare druids, perhaps not entirely human. That's the rumor, anyway. Nobody who could confirm it would ever do so.

Personal history
Fhaora grew up in Swan Falls, alongside her childhood best friend Darhana Arroway, with whom she was in love. Darhana, though, was obligated to make a good marriage. Both young women attended college together, though Darhana's family was treating it more like finishing school. They met Calder Seawolf while at school, and the three became close friends, and Calder already hopelessly in love with Fhaora, but she was not interested in being married, more than a little in love with Darhana, and Calder was promised to his first wife in an arranged marriage.
Calder kept in touch with his friends even after they went their separate ways. After Calder's first wife died, and neither lady was yet married, he proposed that he marry Darhana, whose family was still insisting she make a good marriage, but bring Fhaora into his household as well, despite the fact that she was still refuses any marriage to a man. The ladies agreed, and the arrangement went very well (until the two Ladies died...), even resulting in two heirs that were being raised together in the household.
When Luthien, Fhaora's son, was 6 and Keenan, Darhana's son, was 5, both Ladies passed tragically. The exact circumstances are unknown, but they were out riding (and likely racing) and caught in a storm, and both were found thrown from their horses and deceased. Weirdly, though, they were not anywhere they would have been expected to be.
