Swan Falls

Swan Falls is a small city on the Western peninsula of The Brilliant Empire, a short distance from the Great Sea. It is the birthplace of Lady Darhana Arroway and the childhood home of her best friend Lady Fhaora Darkwood.

Industry & Trade

Swan Falls is mainly a farming community, but they have a large orchard. While the Arroway family is the family who holds title of the lands, they have employed the Darkwood family to help with the orchards for several generations.

Infrastructure

Swan Falls is on the seaside of the Great Sea and on the Cliffton River.

Districts

1. Central District - The biggest part of the city, mostly shops and workships with some residential buildings.
2. Cygnet Docks - The more Southern docks, with more slips but shallower. Mainly for fishing and pleasure boats.
3. Canal District - Houses on the Southern side of the river. These are mostly the second homes of the wealthy, often second homes used for vacationing.
4. Fenwind District - Mostly residential areas.
5. Orchard Hill - The edge of the forest is almost entirely orchards, and this area is dedicated to those orchards.
6. Farm District - Farms, warehouses, equipment, and all the rest for the farming community on the North side of the city.
7. Swan Docks - The more Northern docks, with fewer slips but deeper, and able to dock slightly bigger craft than Cygnet docks. Often used to move farm goods and orchard goods out to bigger ports.

• A, Arroway Manor - The home of the Arroway noble family.
• B. Nest Bridge - The bridge over the Cliffton river; the only crossing big enough to have horses and carts cross.
• C. Boathouse - A big warehouse to hold goods and produce before it gets moved out of the city.
• D. Darkwood House - The home of the Darkwood family, who manage the Orchards for the Arroways.
• E. Temple - An open area where the local Temple or traveling clergy can have ceremonies.
