History
Sir Ian was knighted by Geoff's father just before he died in 605. Privately, Geruff had also advised his son to retain Sir Ian as the royal potion master, as he was of incredibly good character and intensely loyal to Hadleigh House. Two years later, Geoff appointed Sir Ian to the position, having reached the same conclusion as his father.
History
John's father sent him to page for King Geoff when he was 15. They got along well and Geoff offered him a position on the King's Guard when he turned 20. John was happy to accept.
History
Geoff met his wayward uncle's husband when he was fifteen and his father sent him to page in Jostif's manor. As far as Geruff was concerned, Jostif was something of an embarrassment to the family, being openly bisexual and eagerly polyamorous, so Geoff didn't get a chance to meet his aunts, uncle and numerous cousins until his teens. Geoff and Kalle hit it off very early in Geoff's time there and spent a lot of time together. Geoff considers Kalle his uncle's true spouse (yes, Kalle/Jostif is Geoff's OTP) and has made several provisions for Kalle and the kids since his coronation.
History
Geoff's pregnancy was difficult for Aurora and when she went into labor, he became breech during the delivery. She was rushed to the monks at Tsisi Shrine, who delivered Geoffrey safely and saved both mother and child, a rarity at the time. Aurora never held the difficulty of his birth to Geoff and their relationship was close and warm for most of his life. In spite of his squabbles with Hector over who their mother loved most, she was careful to never play favorites with them, especially due to Hector's physical disabilities.
History
When Geoff was born in 585, Hector was demoted to "Prince" and their father, King Geruff II declared Geoffrey his heir. Since Hector was only three at the time, this didn't have much impact on him until later in their lives. During their teenaged years, Hector was resentful of Geoff's position and they frequently fought over unrelated things, often bitterly. As they matured, Hector observed how much stress being king put on their father and being Crown Prince put on his younger brother, then decided he was happy to have missed that particular source of agony. He didn't truly get over it until after their father's death, at which point Geoff and Hector became very close with Hector often giving Geoff emotional and political support.
Legal Status
If Geoff should die without an heir, Hector inherets the throne.
History
Geoff and Marina's marriage was one of political arrangement between her father and his. While they were thrown together, they proved to be extremely compatible and fell deeply in love in the four years before Geoff's ascension to the thrown of Chereladi. Marina's death after long illness crippled Geoff and most of the country for several years before his recovery with the aid of their sons.
