the Culchan Plains
The Culchan Plains are a relatively tree-less plane south of the the Great Jungle roughly where Argentina is in the real world.
The Culchan's Plains are effectively the southern limit of the territory the Lizardmen consider "theirs". There are ruins of the First further south but the Slann and their minions have more or less abandoned these areas completely.
The Culchans Plains are named in honor of the iconic Culchans who are the apex predator here. Skinks have managed to tame some Culchans and ride them, making an effective and deadly cavalry, but one that has a limited geographic range as Culchans don't tend to fair well in jungles and swamps.
Skinks regularly patrol the Culchan Plains region, relying on Culchans to increase their speed and reach. The region is only lightly patrolled but armies can and sometimes are called in if invaders land here.
