Night Forest
The Night Forest is in the southwest corner of Lustria south of the Spine of Sotek Mountains and east of the Copper Desert.
Like most of Lustria, the area receives ample rainfall, enough to sustain a rainforest. Unlike Lustria's other jungles. This rainforest has a relatively cool climate dominated by evergreen trees with some deciduous trees that have leaves that change color in the fall and fall off in the winter.

The climate here is what most humans in the Old World would consider "temperate" though the First consider this realm rather chilly.
Unlike most of Lustria, the Night Forest has four seasons that most humans in the Old World are familar with. In other words the region has a distinctive Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter rather than the normal Wet Season/Dry Season split that the rest of Lustria has.
Fauna & Flora
A lot of animals here go into hibernation during the winter here which means a lot of animals that live here are not seen in the rest of Lustria though many of them are very similar, essentially slightly winterized versions of more common animals. A lot of migratory birds fly north for the winter here.
Some of the local dinosaurs are feathered instead of scaly norm of most of Lustria's dinosaurs. Some Skink scholars speculate that the famous Culchans of the the Culchan Plains are a transplant from the Night Forest.
