Revival Elixer

Article Contents

Saint Nora might have lived and died a human at the beginning of the Iron Age, but in the distant past, she was the Elder Goddess of Time and Order. Like any other god, she is able to bleed and be injured. God-blood crystalizes and is often buried deep in the earth, making finding it nearly impossible.

Mercure Elixers found several large specimens of Saint Nora's blood around twenty years ago, and after some trial and error, they managed to create a potion that has her power. This potion can literally recall a soul from the dead as long as it hasn't yet fully passed on.

The Soul Stone ingredient is used to stabilize the soul, as when a person dies, their soul often breaks to pieces. The Jade and Phoenix Pinion are used to heal the body of the most serious injuries. If not for the fact that Mercure Elixers already has a Miracle Cure, this potion would have been called that.

Just, don't take the potion if you are still alive and unexpired. It will have the opposite effect and send your soul straight to the Wellspring of Souls to be judged by Nora. She doesn't have an opinion on people who take their own lives, but your soul will still be judged all the same and if you are judged to have been a terrible person in life, you may end up wandering Vreathe as a lost soul forever instead. Many times in the last few decades people were given this elixer before they were actually dead, and just ended up dead.

  • "A few years ago, I was forced by bandits to drink one of these potions, or watch Chryssa get killed. I didn't know at the time she was basically immortal so I sacrificed myself and drank this potion. So of course, once again, the fact I'm a Vernador and a descendant of Saint Nora ends up meaning something!"

"Instead of dying, comsuming the Blood of Saint Nora basically turned me into her Avatar for a brief moment. I don't remember what happened, but Chryssa told me that my judgement was swift. I used my incredible control over time and infinity to unravel the bandits."

"The bandits watched themselves get younger then shrink into nothing while the opposite effect hapened to their equipment, rusting away their weapons and armor. There was a lot of greyish goo and piles of red dust in the bandit's camp when I had control of my body again."

"Nora wasn't quite done with them yet, as for a few hours after, I could see the souls of these bandits flailing around and slowly breaking apart into nothing. I've said many times before that Saint Nora is not someone you want to mess with...because, yeah, she's scary!"
