Mercure Elixers Makes this potion primarily to greatly enhance vision capabilities. The potion doesn't have any nasty side effects like their other potions, as long as the warnings are followed. Marksmen often buy these potions to increase their ability to aim with pinpoint accuracy. They don't usually use them for activitites like hunting or battle. They normally take them before archery and shooting competitions. So many people are guilty of using this potion to get an edge that it's almost a requirement to win.

Interesting and scary things start to happen if you take more than one at a time. Taking one will just grant you perfect vision, the ability to discern details that not even an eagle could see. Taking two potions at the same time will produce the effect of being able to see through objects when you squint and focus your eyes. This is a popular tactic by some thieves and less savory folk in commiting their crimes.

For those that take a third potion, whether on accident or on purpose because they think it will give them perfect-er vision, they start to see strange darkened shapes and blobs moving around. They move through objects and walls af it their aren't there. Most people assume these to be spirits of some sort, and many people throughout history have tried and failed horribly at contacting these spirits because of what happens when a fourth potion is taken.

After the fourth potion, these darkened shapes become crystal clear. They are terrifying monsters beyond description. These are creatures from Maeos' Dimension. They normally live and hunt in their own world, but once you become fully aware of them, they will sense you. They will start to hunt you at any cost.

For now, you are just an observer into their dimension, but even if you stop drinking the awareness tonics, these creatures will stil hunt you. They will start attacking the barrier between dimensions until it breaks even temporarily, so they can kill you and prevent anyone else from knowing they ever existed at all.

There is no known effect after drinking five of these potions, because no one has ever survived long enough to take five, not for lack of trying. Several Scholars have made the attempt under some impression that they will be able to travel between dimensions, hiring mercenaries and criminals to do the job. It never ends well.
