Salmvormig (salm-VOR-mig)
One of the largest islands in the Debsmarri, Salmvormig used to be home to a Sang Vieuxais naval power until it was conquered by the Kaalkuslanders as the Verstümmelt Imperium came south towards their homeland. Home to a dense mountain range and many rivulets, the ruins of this broken people can be found up and down every coast, though the new inhabitants pay them no mind. A few petty warlords have taken up residence, but most simply see them as freely available stone for the taking.
Despite its proximity to the Golden Peninsula, it is rare to find any but the locals here; the violent reputation of this land keeping all but the most ambitious, or foolish, merchants at bay.
