Surrounding the Golden Peninsula, this massive sea is the only real connection the landmass has to the outside world after the birth of the The Red God in the Red Wastes. Trade, armies, and refugees travel over its vast waters daily, with major storms usually limited to the winter, and the warm, dry winds of the summer making trade and passage safe and more reliable. Of course, nowhere is truly safe; pirates and privateers patrol these waters just as much as navies, and, while short lived and infreqent, sudden storms and squalls can still capsize unprepared vessals.
