Red Wastes
A massive, unbroken mountain range to the north of the golden peninsula, fully separating the landmass from the Verstümmelt Imperium to the north. While originally this bastion was an impediment to Imperial soldiers conquering the peninsula, it now serves as a harrowing maze of cliffs, crags, lava flows, and, worst of all, horrid and mind-melting aberrations of flesh which has cut off trade from the larger empire and prevents all but the most foolhardy individuals from crossing. It has rendered the Golden Peninsula completely independent, but has also thrown it into chaos.
