Eremita (air-a-MEE-cha)
A lonely island surrounded by the Debsmarri, Eremita used to be home to a mighty naval empire. Now, however, it is little more than a rock in the sea. The eastern half of this island is mountainous and almost unlivable, but the western half is full of fertile farmland and busy trade ports. It has made a name for itself as a home for those who want to escape trouble, and caters to the various needs of merchants weary from travelling and ready to see their homes again. The people who live here are naturally untrusting of outsiders who overstay their welcome, but understand that they are economically dependent on the lager world.
