Volksmann Enterprises
This the main legitimate company that Jozef Volksmann runs, so people won’t notice the connections to organized crime. He employs many family members from House Volksmann, except for those who are aligned with the Minoan Bankers Union. As a Minoan Jozef is very suspicious against Minoan Bankers.
Volksmann Enterprises has several subsidiaries, but the main company is mostly known for the Matter Reclamation Units used on many Hellenistic worlds across the galaxy, especially the combined dumpsters and matter reclamation reactors, that breaks down the waste and turn it into energy at the press of a button. These dumpsters can be found in alleyways all over the galaxy and are a favorite among assassins, hitmen and serial killers, for disposing of dead bodies. It’s not company’s advertising point, though, but Jozef often says in Secret Sign Language of the MGS that:
What’s the difference between getting rid of the competition and taking out the trash? Really? What is it? I can’t tell.
When he’s said that, he tends to laugh... his version of a laugh, which people don’t immediately realize is a laugh, unless they have heard the sound before, and when they know it’s the way he laughs it makes their skin crawl. The sound is sometimes mistaken for an asthma attack, but there’s another element to the laugh that brings to mind fingernails dragging across a blackboard.
