Mother Superior Jumped the Gun

After winning the race by fulling embracing her "V" persona, Vendetta and Big Sis celebrated with Jerry Park and his son. Jerry made a lot of money betting on V, and was eager to set up some more races for her. They all headed back to afterparty at Guttersnipe after being invited upstairs to hang with Lockjaw. At the party they ran into Calamity, who was impressed by V's style and wanted to party with them. Charity was enjoying being a bad girl, but wasn't about to abuse drugs and alcohol. Joni, however, was happy to partake. Calamity turned on V, and after a short argument Calamity dragged Joni off into the club.

Yeti Boy and Kinetic were doing their best to blend in and enjoy themselves, when they were approached by White Cobra, who wanted to talk to Disruptr about an alliance. She didn't want to talk business with Rani around, since she assumed the girl had nothing to do with the Vandals, and Rani agreed to leave but wasn't happy about it. White Cobra made it clear that she knew most of the secret identities of the Vandals and hold video evidence of Colt and Joni transforming. Wendy became visible long enough to talk with White Cobra, who expressed admiration for the Vandals work and though they should team up to do some good with the White Cobra Gang. Wendy wouldn't agree to anything but promised to talk to the team about it. Colt was very confused and unsure what to do with himself.

Rani was confronted by an angry V in the bathroom, as Charity was angry with Colt, thinking he was cheating on Kinetic and endangering Rani in a reckless manner. Rani refused to leave and V stormed off to find Joni, who was barely managing to keep up with Calamity. Rani spotted Lockjaw making his move and heading to a private office, so she notified the team over comms. After some interesting attempts to get past the guards by Joni, Disruptr turned invisible and stealthed up the stairs. She found Lockjaw in a meeting with a mysterious person in a scramble suit. They were making some sort of deal about "Operation Clean Sweep" and Lockjaw received a zip drive full of important information. The meeting was interrupted when the Nightstalkers began their assault on Guttersnipe. In the ensuing chaos, Disruptr managed to get a tracking device on the person in the scramble suit.

The Vandals suited up and confronted the Nightstalkers in an attempt to stop their murderous rampage through the club. As the fight began, the Nightstalkers used all the intel Vendetta had given Mother Superior against the Vandals. Penance was able to redirect the energy of Kinetic's attack, and prevented her absorbing more. Meanwhile, Mercy use her mind control on Big Sis, forcing her to maul Yeti Boy with her claws. Colt was badly injured and bleeding, but refused to fight his sister. Upon regaining control of her mind, Joni was in shock at what she'd done, and found herself frozen, unable to do anything at all. Vendetta defended the momentarily helpless Kinetic from Mother Superior's attacks, and stood face to face with her former mentor. Yeti Boy found himself up against the deadliest Nightstalker, Wrath, but used his primal savagery to surprise her and land a solid hit. Wrath was furious and ran him through with her flaming staff.

With Disruptr's help, Vendetta managed to disarm Mother Superior, but was knocked out by flying kick to the back of the head, delivered by Wrath. Thinking quickly, Kinetic managed to generate and absorb enough energy to free herself, and traded blows with Penance. In a panic, and bleeding out quickly, Yeti Boy grabbed Joni and Vendetta and threw himself out a window. Kinetic combined her martial skills and shifted abilities to set up a devastating uppercut combo on Penance, that tore of his mask, and revealed him as Terrance. Mother Superior offered mercy to Kinetic and Disruptr, and warned them that it was not too late to turn from the shade, as they headed out the window and onto the rooftops of The Lowlands.
