Tribesman

Tribesman are the lifeblood of the Tribe. They make up the vast majority of members and are the most diverse as far as skill and contribution to the stability of the Tribe. Hunters, crafters, warriors, healers, and a slew of other tasks are fulfilled by Tribesman. While it is the belief of the tribe that everyone must pull their own weight to ensure survival and everyone is expected to defend the Tribe to the last man this rank is mostly civilian in nature. Children, the Elderly (that are not among the Council) and most everyone else serves in this role.

Qualifications

Anyone of any race can become a 'Tribesman'. Those that can call the Skyrunner Tribe their Birthtribe are automatically given this rank where anyone else must earn it through the Offering of the Blooded Feather.

Duties

A Tribesman has no specific duties other than their chosen path. These individuals create the foundation for the tribe to function and take up jobs as hunters, wyvern caregivers, braves, farmers, herders, pottery makers, cooks, and whatever else you can think of. Their duties are to the tribe as a whole as they care for it, make it stronger, richer, and more stable. They are expected to act in each task and moment with the best interest of the Tribe at heart and not for themselves.

Responsibilities

The day to day life of a Tribesman usually depends on their chosen skill set and job. Most commonly Tribesman wakes and helps prepare food with Harnor for the day and then set about their various tasks. Though for the most part, a day is one of relative leisure there is always something to be done.

Benefits

Tribesman receive the full protection and benefits of the Tribe as a whole. From the rite of trial and voice in tribe meetings to the equal distributions of food and bounty from supply gatherings and hunts to the rite of spiritual guidance and social rites of marriage and education. Tribesman also are able to choose a The Cloudlord Pride wyvern of their own. Though the bond between rider and wyvern is minimul due to the lack of a Necklace of Binding they are still considered close companions.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

Though the title of Tribesman is one that has no time limit on it an individual can lose that rank, blood born or blood offered. Some crimes or actions may result in an individual being exiled or even executed if the crime is bad enough. Death does not remove the title from someone but an individual can cast aside the title by becoming a self-imposed exile or even disappearing for an extended time without word or cause.
