The Argosian Calendar, also called the Imperial Calendar, is the calendar used in most of the Realm.
The creation of the Argosian Calendar is attributed to Emperor Viktus of Argos. It was one of the first attempts at standardization by the Argosian Empire. The calendar was enacted in 22 IE, and actively encouraged through the production of various annuals for the populace.
The Argosian Calendar divides the year into twelve months with thirty days each. Like the High Elven Calendar it follows the cycle of the moon, but unlike the High Elven Calendar the Argosian month is divided into four to five 7-day months.

Months

The calendar names each months after the dominant constellation in the sky. It follows the moon cycle, with a new month starting as the waxing crescent first shows. The full moon is always on the 13th.
Dates are usually styled in one of the below ways. Note how the sign is plural in 'Sign of Rocs' and singular in 'First Roc'.

Astrology

Emperor Viktus' decision to name the months after the constellation was due to his personal fondness of astrology. Somewhat ironically, the rise of public awareness of star signs also lead it's devolution from a science to a pseudoscience.
As astrological signs became common knowledge, the science became dominated by hobbyist folk astrologers more concerned with divining personal horoscopes and star-approved love matches.

The Imperial Common weekdays show the values of the early Argosian Empire. Households should try limit their purchases to a single day of the week (and street vendors should stay out of the streets on all days but one), they should make time both for their neighbours and their own family, and they should strive towards cleanliness.
The popular annual "Citizens Guide to Household Management", released by the Guild of Domestics in collaboration with the Argosian government, goes in depth on the expected household workload of each day, and extolls the virtues of an imperial week.
A pictogram has been associated with each weekday to simplify bookkeeping.
