Order of the Honor Roll
Overview
The Knights of the Order of Honor, or the Honor Roll Knights, are known by many names. Most commonly they are referred to as the Remembrancers, and serve both militarily and administratively in a variety of positions throughout the kingdoms.Structure
This is a Government department and has many levels of clerical staff, Assistant Registrars and Deputies of the Roll. Each City has it's own Rollmaster, and the Grand Rollmaster - or Ingrosser manages the entire network of records for the Kingdoms.
Culture
This is a culture of legality and adherence to rules - ensuring that Codes of Honor and Honorable mentions are compiled and adhered to. The noting of these actions and issues is treated with greatest import because it is based on honorable results that the appointment of officials to the court and the official positions around the Kingdoms are largely determined by.
Public Agenda
The main function is the recording of honorable and dishonorable actions, but includes information gathering about conditions in different parts of the Kingdoms also.
History
The Honor Rolls collection take up entire floors of the Atlantean Library and are used as the main repository for the family histories of many Atlantean families as well as the Atlantean Royal Armed Forces. The Grand Archive forms a part of this Roll Keepers responsibilities as does the Lore pertaining to it.
