The Mistsea is a section of the
Great Eastern Ocean that is filled with a permanent fog. The fog is constantly being replenished by the vulcanically active
Mist Heralds, located somewhere in the middle of the sea.
Pirate Activity
The cover of the mist is ideal for pirate ships trying to evade the law, as most military captains are not stupid or desperate enough to steer their vessels into the thick soup. The area around the mistsea is therefore well known for it's pirate activity. Some pirates have banded together into a cohesive structure and have even constructed small settlements on a few small islands near the edge of the sea.
