The Heart of Asma

The Asma and Scayrus communities often refer to Cordella Grove as the Heart of Asma. This name holds multiple meanings for the community. In one sense, Cordella Grove brought Asma together under the goddess, Malmi. Without her proselytizing, no one in the community would know Malmi's name. However, her deeds for Asma go further.
It is firmly believed throughout the Eastern Orie communities that Cordella Grove healed the land. Some believed she only asked and Malmi breathed life into the land. Others believe Cordella had abilities bestowed upon her by Malmi to save the land. Despite the conjecture, the Asma community believes Cordella saved the Orie farming community.

Tapestries

Cordella Grove is known across Orie Country for her tapestries. While her family's farm was failing, she wove tapestries with items found on or near the farm. The tapestries ranged from landscapes to portraits. Occasionally, Cordella wove banners for organizations in Asmain.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Before leaving her hometown, her body was strong enough to help with the upkeep of her family's farm. As such, she typically wore basic homespun attire and sported a farmer's tan.
During her final years, Cordella's body deteriorated. She would only rest from working on Malmi's Tapestry to sleep and eat when forced by her family. Her once strong legs lost some of their definition and she lost weight rapidly, especially after Asmain banned her from returning to the city.

Cordella Grove is known for saving Asma, an Orie farming community. If the legend, the Heart of Asma, is to be believed, Cordella Grove sacrificed herself so Asma may survive.
Cordella also brought the religious practices around Malmi, the Goddess of Tapestries and Weaver of Worlds, into her community.

Motivation

Cordella's primary motivation was to save her family's farm and the town of Asma, my proxy. Within the community, she aims to spread practices and rituals that honor Malmi.

Likes & Dislikes

Cordella enjoys the simple things in life: beautiful fresh crops, the smell of afternoon rain, and the feeling of thread between her fingers.
She dislikes dry seasons and her family's tears.

A year and one day after the completion of Malmi's Tapestry, Cordella was found clutching her chest, as if holding her long, lost necklace.
