Tellenor
A Small village south of the Tellenor Mountains, The town of Tellenor is one of the oldest towns in that region. In recent times it is an important trading town because of it's proximity in between Vellen Falls and Penthos. Ships sailing the Archon river use it as a drop off point for good going in either direction. Tellenor's sturdy walls are quite capable of repelling bandit raids or goblin attacks. The Castle Kelleborne is it's most distinguished visual landmark. This ancient building looks more like a gothic hotel than a medieval castle. It towers over the rest of town standing almost nine stories. Though recently destroyed it once boasted a stranded sailing ship in the middle of town which was refitted into a cozy home and headquarters of the adventuring team known as Grimm.
The architecture of Tellenor is derived from several different building styles which have been used over the last six hundred years but many of the buildings have a sandstone like concrete used in the walls which looks tan and stucco. This is in contrast to many of the other towns in the region who used a stone, brick and mortar style construction. Many of the roofs have a series of stained wooden shakers that cascade down large beams, they range in color from dusky earthtones, to reds and oranges and even light pastels on some of the shops.
Commerce in Tellenor is lively and brisk. With the influx of ships constantly moving through the docks the nearby shops are provided with plenty of new goods. Two new businesses have been added in the last year and seem to be flourishing. The Blizzard Hops Tavern and Distillery sells premium whiskey and offers a cold mug of ale to thirsty denizens. It is gaining and popularity and has opened a second location in the Eigerlands in the Corralon Township. The Cog and Gear Magical Emporium is the towns first true expansion in the last 500 years. A portion of the walls was removed so that the building could be built into the eastern side. This allows half of the new building to be outside of the rest of the town in case of any complications with their magical testing range.

Government
Tellenor is under the rule of the five families of Penthos. The current family in charge of the town is Duke Karbald Kerrigan. House Kerrigan takes a very hands off approach to ruling and prefer to be figureheads of some importance rather than working on actual policy. A council of business owners makes all of the basic decisions on building permits, taxes, and infrastructure.
Defences
The Kerra guard are the current law enforcement in Tellenor. They have gone by many names over the last few centuries but they are regarded as competent and intelligent. Though like many officers of law enforcement tend to side with business owners rather than normal townsfolk or farmers. Their investigators are considered above average.
Industry & Trade
Shipping is the life blood of Tellenor, but being in close proximity of wine country and a large farming community helps too.
Infrastructure
Built on a hillside cliff overlooking the Archon River, Tellenor is quite well protected for a small town.
Late in the year SF 2997 the town was taken by forces from Lamborginus and the Knights of Aventador. The town is currently under occupation by a Knight known as Spyder Hura'can.
