Penthaheim
The eastern portion of the continent of Tellenheim.
Geography
Penthaheim is made up of large fields, lakes and a few scattered mountain ranges. Centuries of farming has changed the land somewhat and made it easier to build roads and pathways than many of the other areas of the continent. Lighter forests gave way to lumber mills and cleared land for more farmers. Many lakes and rivers provide fresh water for crops and animals to thrive. All of this allows Penthos the Capitol city to maintain its strength of trade and power amongst the other cities. Most of the coin of the realm flows through it’s ports.
Fauna & Flora
Penthaheim is made up of classic fantasy role playing elements. Lush forests can be found as well as rolling hills and farmers fields. Small mountain ranges that are dangerous but not unforgiving. Many goblinoid races can be found amongst the mountains and east coast of the isthmus. The large population of humans, elves, and dwarves keep most of the dangers manageable and people are able to travel with little problem.
Natural Resources
Fresh water is abundant in the lakes and rivers. Many mines can be found in the hills and mountains providing Iron ore, copper, and silver. Timber is available but managed a little more closely to avoid shipping it in from the west.
