Ivory Talons, Chapter 7: Perfect Timing

Last time, sharp sleuthing on the part of our heroes led them to track down Gibbon Electronics on East 69th street. Clues from the electronics shop helped them uncover a secret building in Central Park near the Central Park Pond! A building occupied by hawk-person troopers!

The fight was on the moment Moon Knight blasted open the front door.

It was a running battle. The fight ranged around - then through - the prefab building. But at last, it came to an end on the shores of Central Park Pond. The hawk-person troopers - and their apparent leader, Dr. Killian - were defeated. Yet... something still wasn't right...

The Knights Vigilant had recovered a case of vials that each held a phosphorescent blue fluid. Dr. Killian had ordered one of his troopers to get the vials to the Delaware Aqueduct. However, quick thinking on the part of the Knights Vigilant had put a quick stop to that. Also! Inside the now ruined secret building, our heroes located the missing medical equipment Clock King had stolen from Mr. Freeze.

Yet!

That didn't explain the Crystal Vine powder, or if the Clock King was working as a vigilante against criminal activity at Grail Industries. Then, there is the new question of what did Dr. Killian want to do at the aqueduct? And why?

Hopefully, the data pad our heroes recovered from the hawk-troopers will shed some light on this! Not to mention getting some well earned and much needed breathing room at botanical research lab owned by Leopardworks Savannah, Ltd... provided they can trust their current host, Dr. Pamela Isley ... also known as...

POISON IVY!

Hang on, True Believers, as our heroes may be heading into the most strangest - and dangerous - climatic moment of this entire caper!

The report from Grail Industries. They were supposedly selling a 'watered down' medicine? Was the Clock King acting as a vigilante? Yet... he was being paid? What's the story there?

Who are these mysterious hawk-people working with Dr. Killian? What are their stake in all this? Just hired muscle? Or do that suggest something else sinister going on?

Those add to these other questions that are stacking up even higher!

An alliance with Mr Freeze! Given the doctor's past, can he be trusted? Is he really after stolen medical equipment? Or is there more to his story?

Just what WAS this "Crystal Vine Powder" that the Golden Lotus has ... and the Hammer Empire wanted? It seemed to act in a manner like the mutagenic drug, Silent Dreams. Is it simply that repacked under a new name? Or is it something more?

And now! Can they trust Mr. Freeze's occasional criminal colleague, the eco-terrorist, Poison Ivy?

Finally ...

What is Dr. Killian's interest in the aqueduct? It was nothing good, of course, but just WHAT was he planning? Is it already in motion? If so...
