Sagiso (sah-gee-sooh)
Officially, Sagiso is a cabaret club under the umbrella of Shiryuu. Their logo is a stylized sagiso (Pecteilis radiata) flower, white on a black background.
The Japanese word kyabakura (キャバクラ) is a portmanteau of cabaret and club, but is usually rendered as 'hostess club' in English. Hostess Clubs exist in Saharin, but some clubs natively called kyabakura also include dancing and sexually themed performances. These particular clubs are called 'cabaret clubs' here to provide a more accurate image to the reader.
Public nudity, selling sexual contact, and publicly displaying pornography are prohibited by Saharinese law.
Sagiso usually appears to be complying with the law, at least in the main lounge. What happens in private rooms and during private events is an open secret. Shiryuu's recreational drugs are also sold on the premises among other off-menu items.
