Otherwise known as the Reich of Pfred or The Kaiserreich or simply The Empire
Theme: Pfredreich is an interesting nation, it has risen and fallen much in its history, often in defence of other nations, despite its Nationalistic Zeal and Over zealous love of Goddess and Country. Despite its benevolent history, the Two-headed Phoenix of Pfredreich is reaching a turning point but first, the origin of the nation must be discussed to truly understand the Successor state of Old World Germany.Origins:
The State of Pfred was once a historical project by the Alicornians, a love letter to Old world Germany and its culture. It was a vast Imperial Province that peacefully influenced and somewhat ruled Orleania, Tolvani and little bits of present-day Western Equestria to an extent. Pfred became an independent state during the Chaos Wave that tore Alicornia asunder. What started as a Historical Love letter became the foundation of a nation. Pfred soon became Pfredreich throughout the foundation of the world and many wars. It was at its peak just before the 2nd Equestrian Civil War, when it invaded Western Equestria. What started as a highly successful war eventually stalled and turned into a crushing defeat of the Kaiserreich. After years of battling Naqah, Elkhiem and now Western Equestria. The Empire had completely collapsed, its holdings in the other nations stripped and the Treaty of Dutchen was signed, a treaty that'd cripple and contain the Empire to its lesser borders for the next 4400 years. In the waning years of the Era of grey, the once iron grip Western Equestria maintained begins to slip and Nationalistic zeal and revenge has never been higher as well as Poverty and desperation. As the Kaiserreich prepares for war, a new ideology named Totalism began to rise, with a familiar-looking three-lined symbol, an imperialistic flag and the infamous named The National Equalist Party began to take power in the Senate. Bit by bit, Pfredreich begins to look ever more like the darkest chapter in German history. What awaits the Empire? Will it fall into the depths of Racial, Fanatical Nationalism or will the Kaiserreich save itself and cement itself as the once beloved Empire once more?Government:
The Government of Pfredreich is what can be referred to as a Constitutional Monarchy which has a constitution that defines the protocols of government and various rights. Coming with a fully functional Senate that democratically represents the people, a sign of Proto-Republicanism within the nation. While the senate is quite powerful the overwhelming authority still lies with the Kaiser. The Kaiser is the Democratically elected Monarch of the Nation, an election is held for the Monarch at the death of each Kaiser. Still were there a Democracy index in this world as there is one for ours, Pfredreich's Democracy would still rank fairly low. For an Imperialistic nation though, it is quite the achievement. It is a project started by Kaiser Pfred Von Schmitt, in a effort to avoid events in German history that have been forgotten a long time ago. One of the key Ethos' of the Government is 'By the People, For the People.' One of the quotes that Pfred Von Schmitt often cited, to the Kaiserreich the government exists for and only the benefit of the people. A government who does not serve their nation is unworthy of existence. Love for the Nation is always high in the government and everything they do is mostly for the benefit of the nation. It is not without it's corruption but comparatively to the neighbouring nations, financial corruption is exceedingly low. But excessive nationalism is slowly slipping into mainstream politics, slowly turning the government Totalist, to the concern of Current Kaiser Elsa Strauss who believes that should this continue. The Government will come to see that the people exist to serve the government and not the other way around. Starting a series of reforms in attempt to further Democratize the nation and quell the wave of Totalism slowly steamrolling the Government and culture of the Empire.Parties:

The culture of Pfredreich resembles a modified version of German culture, having their own versions of German folklore, cultural practices and even clothing. Still several thousand years is a long time and over time trends have changed and Pfredreich is home to other cultures to that have changed Pfredreich's overall aesthetic albeit subtly. Even though Pfredreich is sliding towards a Toxic Nationalist Government under the NEP, the Griffin Kingdoms maintains a lot of investment into Pfredreich and benefits hugely from the victories of Imperialists or Totalists against Democratic influence and works to keep any sort of Democratic or Civil Rights movement down.

Despite Pfredreich's growing authoritarianism, these two nations maintain a steadily worsening trade relation between each other. With Relations continuing to degrade, it probably won't be long until they are enemies.

Relations between these two is a complete mess, both are experiencing growing era of change, both suffer from a rigid, elitist and uncompromising Political Order and both have revolutionaries of all flavours.
Both have benevolent and malevolent intentions with each other, both cannot guarantee each other's standing. A Fresh deal between these two is few and far between, often confusing and contradicting.
Suspicious Trade partners
Trust between these two has been erroding for awhile, the Colonies open action against Pfredreich has bled into the relations of these two but Lexer is less willing to fight the NEP in Pfredreich, under estimating the allure of Totalism, thinking that the Pferdian Republicans will win anyway, despite the growing indications that the NEP are winning the country.
Former Allies
Growing Pferdian Hyper Nationalism and the Shadow of Supremacy has caused these former Allies and friends to split apart, and contemplate war against each other. All Trade and business ties have been severed between the two.
Occupied
Western Equestria is exerting increidble power over the previous Pferdian Empire, after the Treaty of Dutchen, imposing strict controls, desolating the economy and allowing the Argenian banks to ruthlessly extort wealth and prosperity from Pfredreich.
After countless wars, Western Equestria has finally dominated their enemy, but will this peace last? Doubtful.
