Lake District, The

The Lake district is the cultural centre for Millennium City. It is the primary location for many of the city's mueums, archives, theatres and cinemas. It also has the Millennium District Municipal Library, which is a huge library funded primarily by donations from companies, private citizens and the city itself.
The district surrounds Lake Albion and much of the waterfront is taken up with cafes, bars and restaurants, though there is a large water sports centre on the western edge, towards MIllennium City University. This centre is mainly used by students but is open to the public all year round.   There are a number of hotels in this district that vary wildly in price.
