Alphi, as do most transmigrants, view their minds as being their true self. Bodies of metal or flesh are but vehicles for their intangible minds to interact with the material universe. It is simply a matter of fashion that alphi widely prefer the traditional organic form.Once matured, alphi like to roll the evolutionary dice on themselves to grow all manner of additional biological traits like gills, harder bones, extra limbs or desensitized nerves. But more than likely, they are hampered in some grotesque way and need to commission an echoist for an entirely new body.

GCC's services are easiest to offer in the minimum gravity environment. Three flutteries: Bishop, Culture and Continental orbit the Opal World alongside Hieregard. Bank, Hoop and Neil move between the gravity currents around the Opal Portal; while Island, Jellyfish, Reclaim, Mulberry and Reef move out of range entirely in an outer pseudo-orbit.Technological Level

From where secondary layers of callusing tissues and non-biotic components, like engines, are attached. However, the GCC is called the Great Costume Company for its proficiency in designing and creating flesh forms for the alphi, gammians and occasional betans who order one. While more vulnerable compared to a mechanical form, the organic suit is seen similarly to clothing for the ease in switching them out.Infrastructure

Moblie conglomerations of dozens of rotating stations that specializes in manufacturing their bio-ship designs. Though they are far from ideal space ships, flutteries routinely move throughout the Miasmic Astral while siphoning the moll around them for their products. Additionally, these free floating factories are primarily concerned with growing sufficient foodstuffs for the rest of humanity through hydroponics, aeroponics and vertical farming.
