Flujsa Caverns
A system of natural caves said to be the place to where the Flujsa fled as they left this world. Any who enter do not return.
Demographics
While it is believed that these caves are haunted by Flujsa and the spirits of their victims, in reality it is a small Murasan hamlet. Half the population are guards and raiders and the other half are craftsmen and laborers.
Government
Led by a coven of colacho who serve Galeritha in her endeavors. The coven make and enforce the laws in her absence.
Defences
There is but one way in or out, and it is defended by armed guards and fox lesser beasts. The tunnels are small and narrow to make it difficult for invaders to bring in pole weapons, and they are connected by even smaller crawl tunnels so the defenders can get behind their attackers. There are pitfalls dug into the floors, oil pits at tunnel intersections, murder holes in the overlapping tunnel network, drop and net traps to ensnare intruders, and alarmed tripwires to alert the whole system of unwanted guests. All this manned by a contingent of over 20 armed guards and raiders.
Industry & Trade
They manufacture small iron and steel goods, porcelain pots and jars, and rolls of silk for trade at nearby markets. They also sell various teas and mushrooms. The majority of their income is from tea and silk.
Infrastructure
The cave system is mostly natural but has been added to by its denizens as they've grown as a settlement. Rooms have been hollowed out of the stone to house a smithy, porcelain kiln, and silk looms for commerce. One big room was hollowed out to house their food production. A large lake filled with bass takes half that room, with rice fields along the shore, a vegetable garden to one side, tea garden to another, and mushroom farms sprawling in between everything. Toads and lizards wander openly in this room. Every bit of waste that can be, is used for fertilizer.
